1.   Membership Eligibility

• By joining the Cape Turf Club you automatically accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
• Membership is offered to all active owners and trainers registered with NHA for the duration of their active registration only.
• To become a member an individual must fill out the online registration form and make the corresponding payment via accepted methods. Once payment has been processed, you have agreed to membership for the following 12 month period.
• Members must be aged 18 or over.
• Any persons who have self-excluded themselves with reference to Responsible Gambling cannot be a member.
• Membership is offered at Cape Turf Club’s discretion and we may refuse membership to any applicant.
• The Cape Turf Club reserves the right to cancel a membership. 
• Membership is not transferable. 
• Any person who is banned from entering a racecourse cannot be a Member.

2. Membership Benefits

• As a Member of the Cape Turf Club we may offer you certain benefits. For a full list of Membership Benefits and Events visit our website.
• Includes membership badge for race days.

3. Duration of Membership

• Membership period is effective from 1 August to 31 July. No refunds will be given should the membership be cancelled for any reason within that period .
• If at any stage you cancel your NHA ownership and are no longer an active owner, your club membership will automatically be cancelled. 
• Membership may be terminated at any time for violation of any rule or regulation of the Cape Turf Club, or any venue where we hold an event, or for conduct deemed by us to be detrimental to the welfare, good order or character of the Club and its members or for any other reason at the sole discretion of The Cape Turf Club.

4. Subscription Fees

5. Conditions of Membership
• Members will have to produce their membership badge to obtain entry to Club facilities or events. 
• When you attend any events offered to members of the Cape Turf Club you must comply with all rules including health and safety and security at the relevant venues.
• You are responsible to ensure your contact details are up to date and must update your membership profile with any change of name, postal or email address. Click to see our privacy policy in relation to the privacy of your details submitted to the Cape Turf Club. 
• Correspondence will be sent to the latest e-mail address provided on your registration or already held by us. We are not responsible for late, or misdirected e-mails.
• Members can update their communication and membership preferences at any time. 
• Email is our preferred form of communication to update our Members, however Members can unsubscribe from the Cape Turf Club at any time. To unsubscribe click here. 

6. Intellectual Property

• All content, graphics, logos, text, images, software, and any other materials on this website are the property of Cape Racing or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use any content from our website without our prior written consent.
