Pamela Isdell was all smiles on the winner’s podium after Loreina’s impressive win on Saturday. The Gimmethegreenlight filly was expertly ridden by Grant van Niekerk who had a stellar day with 3 wins for the Snaith stable. Pamela was delighted with the win and thanked top trainer Justin Snaith who ended his interview with a cheeky comment about the grey’s rider. Pamela quoted in her interview that Loreina is a very beautiful horse and that she has a soft spot for greys. The 3 year old filly is a two-time winner from six starts and was bred by Klawervlei Stud.
This was the second win for Pamela with the Snaith yard, van Niekerk and Gimmethegreenlight combo as she led Impact Investor to the winners enclosure earlier this month.
Pamela is an enthusiastic nature conservationist and an avid birder and was honoured with the Anne Cox Chambers Humane Heroine Award by the Atlanta Humane Society.
