Yes, for Cape Turf Club members only. Private suite holders and CENTURION members will have access to allocated unreserved parking at the Hollywoodbets Kenilworth parking area at the Rosmead Avenue entrance. CLUB members will have access to a dedicated parking zone via the Wetton Road entrance. Non-members will have access to general parking via the Wetton Road entrance.
Only registered CTC Owners and Centurion Members have access to the 1881 Lounge.

Yes, as a CENTURION or CLUB member, you can host your guests in the 1881 Lounge. Temporary accreditation will be issued to your guests and will be valid for the day. It is noted, however, that a registered CTC member must be part of the booking party.
Yes. The Cape Turf Club badges will give you full access to the parade rings and members’ facilities in Durban and Pietermaritzburg on arrival before the first race. Booking is required for members’ facilities.
Yes, on Festival days, all CENTURION Members, CLUB members, and owners with runners declared in Grade 1 races will take preference on table bookings in the 1881 Lounge. However, the Peninsula Room will be the dedicated overflow room for all owners, so table bookings for all CTC Owner members will always be guaranteed.
It has been publicly disclosed that Gold Circle has accepted an offer to be acquired by Hollywoodbets and Greg Bortz. Numerous member and regulatory approvals are needed before this transaction can proceed. If these approvals are received, and the transaction is completed, it can be expected that the CTC benefits will be extended to Gold Circle venues and vice versa.

For Grade 1 races, CENTURION members and one guest will have access to the Parade Ring. CLUB members and one guest will only be able to access the Parade Ring if they have a declared runner in the race. Additional accreditation will be issued on the day to enable access.
No. The ROA has no standing within Cape Racing. The ROA badges are not accepted or recognised at our racecourses in the Cape. Should you additionally wish to be a member of the ROA, that is your prerogative. But this will provide you with no benefits or standing within the CTC or on our racecourses.
Each CTC CENTURION and CLUB member can host one guest in the Parade Ring. The CTC member MUST accompany each guest at all times. This is part of an initiative to tighten security and access to the Parade Ring. Access to the Parade Ring has been relaxed in recent years; however, it is hallowed ground and should be treated as such.
Your Cape Turf Club Membership renewal is due on or before 31 July 2024 and is valid from August 2024 – 31 July 2025.
